First separate no startup response from a charging indication followed by a startup problem. Those are different observations.
Does your version recharge?
Check the full model and the power section of its instructions. The current MY139 and MY135 catalog references use rechargeable batteries; CN69 uses wall power. An older version or a similar-looking body may use a different arrangement.
For a version with replaceable batteries, use only the type and orientation stated in its guide. Do not open the housing to find out whether an internal battery is replaceable.
Check the visible power path
- Read the labels. Compare the device’s power requirements with the power accessory you are using.
- Inspect while disconnected. Look for a damaged cable, loose connector or visible moisture. Do not insert anything into the port.
- Use the documented connection procedure. Substitute a cable or adapter only when it is confirmed compatible.
Charging duration, completion indicators and use while connected must come from the matching guide. A USB connector alone does not answer those questions.
What happens when connected?

If there is heat or damage
Stop use and charging if you observe swelling, smoke, a burning smell or damaged wiring. Do not repeat the event for a recording or open the housing for a repair. Use damage guidance for the next step.
