The body, medicine cup, mask, mouthpiece and tubing can require different care. A method permitted for one part does not apply automatically to the others.
Make a component care checklist
| Component | Find in the matching guide |
|---|---|
| Medicine cup and lid | Permitted removal, cleaning, disinfection and drying. |
| Mask or mouthpiece | Care method for that exact accessory and any replacement guidance. |
| Device body and power connections | Permitted exterior care and restrictions around moisture. |
| Air tubing, if supplied | Whether any care or replacement is required and the stated method. |
Beside each item, keep its guide page and the permitted method. Leave an unclear entry unanswered until you can confirm it.
Keep cleaning, disinfection and drying separate
Read how the guide distinguishes these steps. Record the materials, timing and method for each component. A detachable part is not automatically safe to soak, boil or put in a dishwasher.
If your version has a cleaning mode, find which component it addresses and which preparation and finishing steps remain. The mode name alone does not provide a complete care routine.
Before putting it away
- Complete the drying and storage steps specified for each part.
- Keep cared-for components separate from those still awaiting care.
- Keep the model and guide revision with your care note.
- Check the stated storage conditions before an extended period of storage.
For a trip, see the packing and power checklist.
After storage or a missed routine
Record how long the device was stored, how its parts were left and any visible change. Use the guide’s return-to-use instructions. Do not compensate for missed care with a stronger cleaner, longer soak or heat.
If the guide does not cover the situation, ask about that component before use. If output has changed, include the care history with the mist or stopping description.
Need the matching instructions?
Include these details with your question:
- Exact model
- Component you want to clean or store
- The care instruction that is missing or unclear
